Seiko Astron Watch GPS Solar Dual Time Chronograph in Slate Blue SSH175J1. Astron was created from Seikos passion for innovation, and now, under the design theme of Solidity, a series of solar timepieces have been created for the innovative future ahead for Seiko watchmaking.
Lightweight with strong looks, within a super hard coated titanium case and bracelet, under dual curve sapphire glass crystal is a blue-grey dial. It showcases a vertical subdial layout and horizontal line pattern. This model has its own contemporary feel, with its sleek lines, slim profile, and compact, angular design it has an almost seamless flow from the case, through the lugs and to the bracelet.
This piece was designed to have a low centre of gravity, making comfortable on the wrist. The five-piece bracelet is crafted from titanium for lightweight wearing. It has a micro-adjustable clasp feature. The caseback has a three-dimensional globe symbol.
It features a new in-house 5X83 solar-powered movement, that not only charges efficiently, but also features a 1/20th of a second chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The subdial at 12 oclock is for the chronograph feature, the subdial at 9 oclock for setting modes, and the subdial at 6 oclock for a dual-time feature.
