A fine and rare Vacheron Constantin from the early 1950s with a jumbo 37mmrose gold case. As vintage gold watches go, youll be hard pushed to find something more attractive than this stunning !
If we had to pick a favourite brand for , it would have to be Vacheron Constantin. Elegant, timeless and understated everything a good dress watch should be (in our opinion anyway!).
This particular example features an original dial professionally restored and in absolute mint condition. It houses a calibre P453/3B manually wound movement signed "Vacheron & Constantin Geneve Swiss, Adjusted To Temperatures, and Seventeen 17 Jewels and has recently received a full service as can be witnessed from its beautiful condition.
The inner case back is marked with Vacheron & Constantin Swiss as well as the mark for 18k gold (18k, 0.750), Swiss proof mark (the Queens head) and the case manufacturer Cdex, Charles Dubois SA (the 170 inside the hammerhead).
You rarely come across jumbo Vacherons inrose gold, let alone a ,in such stunning condition and unfortunately, once this is gone we probably wont see another for some time. Dont let this one getaway!
